What is this course all about?

The Valuation Master Class is an online, video-based training program that teaches beginners in finance every step in the valuation process to transform them into valuation experts.

How does this course work?

The full Valuation Master Class consists of five modules, which our students say takes about 200 hours to complete. But to get to Module 5, you must progress through the first four modules! 

We teach in short blocks of content. Each lesson starts with a learning outcome statement and ends with a summary of what you have learned to help you better retain the material. In this course, your knowledge will build progressively, so you must finish each lesson before moving on to the next.

In Finance Made Ridiculously Simple, Dr. Stotz combines over 30 years of teaching and financial analyst experience with his background as a business founder to make finance accessible to everyone. Module 1

In Valuation Master Class Module 1, students download the ValueModel, the company valuation tool that Dr. Stotz developed over three decades. You then follow along as Dr. Stotz takes you through the journey of forecasting and valuing one company. Students continue to apply what they learn to the same ten economic sectors covered in FMRS. In addition, you will learn how to predict the most critical items in a balance sheet, with a particular focus on "free money." The three companies you will value each come from one of the ten economic sectors you previously studied. You will download ValueModels for each company and create your own forecast and valuation for submission and review. Students will learn how to create each company's revenue structure report developed by Dr. Stotz and avoid common mistakes by using the error checking section of the ValueModel.

You will have access to the ValueModel for all three companies, and you will use the error reduction tool to avoid common mistakes. In addition, you will have access to the revenue structure report and learn how to apply it to any company.
